Summer Review - Best Bars in Jaco Beach

Nightlife in Jaco's is notorious in this country - where some other beach towns close down after dark, it seems that is when Jaco comes alive. The general itinerary (for those who like to party) for any night of the week is as follows:

10-12:30 PM - the Monkey Bar. This is a standard bar that plays American popular music. Very crowded by 12 o'clock, you should check out the pool tables and bar in back, away from the crowds. You don't pay any charge.

12:30-3 - Nacho Daddy's. This is a dance venue with two rooms - one plays more traditional Latin music (salsa) and the other is hip/hop and reggae style. The charge is 4-5 dollars.

3:00 - 1:00 - Tsunami Sushi. The spot to go when you're hungry and want GREAT fresh food at a reasonable price. Second floor of the Galeone Mall, Jaco, Costa Rica.

Great post Marea! Me and some friends are looking at Jaco condos for a upcoming vacation and we definitely want to go out while were there so this was so helpful. I absolutely can't wait, thank you for sharing this with us!
